It's certainly interesting to observe how the Crested Goshawk juvenile is fast learning to be alert to its surrounding, other birds, sounds, people. It was perched high up again and was seen to be actively scanning around.
While the juvenile is out, the adult seemed to be busy in or with the nest.
I was searching for the juvenile again and didn't realise that it had actually moved to the other side of the tree. Wow, I was truly surprised that having not seen it for only a day, it was able to move around so quickly now.
The sunlight certainly enabled me to see its eyes better this time, and as usual it's sharp-eyed!
I just loved to be spotted!
What came as a surprise with this move to this part of the tree was that it made the adult bird go after it - hmmm, could it be the first time that it had moved across the tree and this had caused the adult to be rather nervous.
If not for a movement, I would have missed the adult bird just behind the juvenile on the same branch, and it stayed there for as long as the juvenile was there.
