Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Young OMR

The Oriental Magpie Robin is always taken for granted because it's everywhere, unfortunately also much sought after by poachers.  Unless one views it up close, one will not really appreciates its gorgeous colours.  And it's definitely a favourite subject for me to photograph because of its plumage and expressions, and this one is a young male.
