Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A-feasting for the Bulbul

A sad but stunning sight to behold - fallen branches still dense with tiny ripe figs.

And looked who came a-calling, normally it wouldn't come so close with me standing clicking away, and still it went on, picking fruit after fruit.  Lucky Stripe-throated Bulbul!

And then another came and it's a feast too for this one, hopping from one branch to another, having its pick.
