Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Lesson in movement

This Little Heron is also known as Striated Heron.  It is the smallest of the Herons.  I normally see it as a loner, as if in a meditative slow motion walk, stalking prey.
It is best to observe this bird on the ground when it is hunting, extending and retracting its legs and neck in slow deliberate motions.  A Qigong follower may just want to train in this bird's meditative movement.
