Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Spectacled Spiderhunter

I would have pursued further this winged one if I had known that it was a new visitor to the taman.  Unfortunately I only discovered that this one was a Spectacled Spiderhunter when I downloaded the image, the only one I took.
Nevertheless I'm only too happy to record this visitor as species No 94 sighted to date in the taman.
