Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A 'fruity' find

Nature is certainly at its best here, a lovely clutch of bluish berry-like fruit seemed to have grown from this wilted stalk or cane plant.
Looks like something does live forever, or morph if left to its natural cycle of life.

Simply stunning from any angle, and I guess it must be inedible because not a single creature was seen near it, least of all on it.
