Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A warbler with its catch
The Eastern Crowned Warbler needless to say is one of the most challenging to photograph so it was quite thrilling when I spotted this one, ever slightly easier to shoot because it flew in with a catch, and thereon preoccupied with smashing the insect, like any bird would do before proceeding to swallow it whole.
