Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A ubiquitous Flycatcher

One of the most common of migrants was finally here, the Asian Brown Flycatcher.  This bird would normally remain in one place, in this case the taman, throughout the migratory season.
This occasion only allowed me record shots as it still kept up high so here's hoping to get eye-level shots in future.
