Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A Flycatcher promptly arrives
Another migrant bird that has not failed to arrive is the Yellow-rumped Flycatcher. It has been pretty challenging to get this bird in the open so the following images have been shot over a couple of days which meant repeated visits and patience to catch both the male and female in the open. 10/2019 These were the first sightings of the female.
Fortunately a couple of days later I was rewarded with its full gorgeous profile.
