Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A swift catch

Finally got the Dollarbird with a prey, but could't make out exactly what it was, definitely an insect, hard shell which is its favoured food.  It would normally take off for its catch and return to the same perch but not this time, so I momentarily lost it after seeing it, and before I knew it there it with its prize on a lower branch.
Waited for its next sorties but never came as it looked rather satisfied after this catch.
