Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

For visual impact

These Cluster Fig Trees lush with fruits in Bukit Kiara were just too gorgeous to ignore.  This tree species is native to Malaysia and it is simply outstanding in that the fruits grow on or close to the trunk.
The fruits neither attract monkeys nor birds but they do offer a stunning visual impact.  The way some of the clusters snake round the trunk is almost lyrical!
