Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Man imitate beast or ....

What is space?
By definition, any where in the taman, where one gets to.
This morning, it was the Crested Goshawk who got to claim its space.  In the taman, it's always one against the other, not always the biggest wins, or loses, as the bully Crow proves against the Kite, or even a pair of Mynas against the Hornbill.  But today, the Crested Goshawk got to play bully, chasing off the Black-naped Oriole, no match there, for certainty.  And claimed its space, staying put for more than 30 minutes, relaxing, as one would say, putting its leg up! (and allowing me and another bird enthusiast to click to our heart's content.)
Hmmm, why there when it could go anywhere in the taman?!
Hmmm, are we like birds, or are birds like us?
