Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

This too, bird

I couldn't resist snapping this colourful couple as I walked by.  Anyway the male was crowing too loudly for me to ignore it!
    The Rooster and its Hen are part of a brood of stunningly beautiful domestic fowls kept by the adjacent longhouse residents by the taman.





Who would not stop to gaze at these beauties?
