This adult female Oriental Magpie Robin was so busy calling out that it did not even fly off when I approached close to it. It was obviously calling out to either its mate or juvenile.
Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A mother's call
Sometimes, it is simply amusing, and also educational, to birdwatch. On this occasion, one observes how a mother's concern is no different in all God's creatures.
This adult female Oriental Magpie Robin was so busy calling out that it did not even fly off when I approached close to it. It was obviously calling out to either its mate or juvenile.
I looked around and spotted this juvenile on the ground, with a lost? or defiant look!
