Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

A lone worker

I caught this Scaly-breasted Munia busy at work, breaking off grass, flying continuously to the same spot to do so, a lone worker.
Perhaps it sensed my presence because as I approached for better close-up shots, it decided to fly to different spots for its materials, which during this duration were predominantly fresh blades of grass.
