Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Unique dwelling
This part of the taman always reminds me of the cave dwellers of China, where millions of ethnic minorities and the native elderly continue to live in caves. I could imagine holes dug into the soil for dwelling.
In the taman, this formation would be ideal location for snakes and birds like kingfishers and bee-eaters if this land is not so exposed. Some parts of the taman are indeed already such dwellings for selected residents.
