It is challenging to get shots at Sunbirds, and absolutely difficult to get shots of a pair of them together, and when the opportunity arose with the Brown-throated Sunbirds, it was a must-get situation although it proved to be truly testing when the birds are perched high and blocked. You just have to try and spot it by following its calls, and brave the crawling red ants on the ground when you have to stand in the path of these ants to get the shots. Nevertheless I had to be contented with the following images.
The only clear image when the birds flew out, and only the female decided to perch.
