Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

Juvy Shrike

When this juvenile Brown Shrike looks as adorable as this, you'll want to keep on capturing its image however high it perches.  
     I do hope it stays on in the taman till it's time for it to fly back home as I would love to get its adult image, in its full plummage then.
