It was a great feeling when I saw this Banded Bay Cuckoo again, unmistakably the same one I saw before as identified by its ruffled neck.
This time, it had gone for a flower which is not its usual diet of moths, perhaps an alternative in the absence of its normal food.
And then it started what is considered a birder's dream, preening time, and was at it for so long that I had to give up shooting! Am ever so grateful for this opportunity!
