Taman Rimba Kiara is a little green gem located in a corner of the TTDI residential area. The above flowering tree, the firmiana malayana or mata lembu, flashes in testimony to man's care-less-ness - it's one of only two trees in the park that had flowered, since then the tree had been chopped down.

'Amusement' in the eye of the beholder

I just couldn't walk past these without taking shots - antics of man and beast!  One definitely the 'creative' work of someone, and the other could be that of a squirrel, although there have been so many banana flowers before and this is the first time I have seen one foraged like this.
